since i found out that the batteries for the strike was a pain to change, i decieded to connect it to a usb socket. unfortunately i found out that the LED on it runs only on 3v, and the usb socket runs on 5v. suffice to say the LED burned out after a while. :( I guess i have to find myslef new LEDs soon.

  • Add a 100 to 200 ohm resistor in series with LED will do. By using SMD LED will save more space.
